Bush Physics for the 21st Century (BP21) is a distance delivery physics course that that is culturally connected, engaging to modern youth, and mathematically rigorous, designed for college and high school students in the remote and often road-less villages of Alaska. A primary goal of the course is to prepare rural (predominantly Alaska Native) students for success in university science and engineering degree programs and ultimately STEM careers.
Prerequisites:
General Prerequisites: Basic high school Algebra 1 and permission of Instructor.
Additional Prerequisite for High School Students: Must have passed the Alaska High School Exit Exam.
